Journal cross is high-quality alloy steel forging. Journal crosses are heat treated in a carburizing process that produces bearing-quality case-hardened steel which maximizes life expectancy. Each lube option features the grease fitting in the bearing cup. Needle bearings are sized for maximum load-carrying capacity. Grease fitting provides preventive maintenance re-lubrication capability. Long and wide u-joint with 1-1/16" caps (short axis) and 1-1/8" caps (long axis).
