Howe Precision Ball Joints

The Howe name in racing dates back to the early 1970's but it was not until 2001 that Howe introduced the Precision Ball Joint to racing. The story of the modern Precision Ball Joint originated in the year 2000 as part of an effort to improve handling on racing tires. Once introduced, the innovative design created a new category for ball joints. In the years since Howe Ball Joints have become a common sight on race cars worldwide due to their low friction, high travel, durability and size selection.

Several other ball joints more recently have come onto the racing scene. In spite of claims, none have matched the performance of the original. Many racers have learned to distinguish the Howe ball joints from the others by looking for the unique black and copper color along with the Howe trademark in the housing. The new logo is made to merge these two distinguishing features. The appearance is not what makes Howe Precision Ball Joints perform but it will help racers to make sure that they are getting the American made quality that they are expecting.
