Bilstein SMX Series shock absorbers are specifically designed for motorsports applications that mandate the use of stock mount (OE) suspension components. Designed using 46mm monotube technology, the shocks are available in a variety of damping options including dry kit designed specifically to provide the best options for a variety of race track types and conditions. • Available in a wide range of standard valving that are specifically race-tuned to offer the right combination for any track configuration and characteristics.
• All dampers feature Bilstein’s race proven linear piston design with low-drag motorsports piston band and proprietary oil blend.
• Factory style rubber bushing mounts with improved mating design to enhance suspension articulation.
• Front SMX compressed length is 1/2” shorter than standard AK1043, AK3050F, etc. More “down” travel capability on the front is an advantage using latest set-up trends.
• Rear SMX extended length is 3/4” longer than standard AK1044, AK3030R, etc. More “up” travel capability on the rear is an advantage using latest set-up trends.
