This fuel cell vent is a high flow vent that keeps the traditional idea of the rollover ball to prevent fuel leakage in the event of turnover or wreck, but adds a key benefit. Our vent offers a high flow poppet design. This prevents fuel cell pressure from pushing the ball up, seating and stopping the vent from doing its job. On rough tracks, this type of issue is very common and causes flooding in the carburetor on corner exits. We recommend the fuel cell vent more often for racers with the belt driven pumps because there is more fuel flowing through with belt driven pumps.
