Stat-O-Seal consists of a Buna N O-ring mechanically locked to the I.D. of an aluminum washer. When tightened, the O-ring is compressed around the bolt shank, forming a positive seal over a temperature range of -85° F to 450° F. Stat-O-Seal is more efficient than copper or fiber sealing washers.
