Construction

1. Unique ONE-PIECE design eliminates two brazed joints, minimizing potential leakage, improving flow and appearance.
2. Two Viton “O” rings form a redundant seal to ensure no-leak service for the life of the part and are impervious to fuel, oil, and coolant.
3. Stainless steel lock wires prevent galling and provide long service.
4. Wider wrenching surface for a no-slip installation.
5. Tapered nipple for easy alignment and installation.
6. J gauge threads for increased strength and durability.
7. Bright dipped anodizing for a show quality finish.
8. Improved entry angle on the socket, allows for easy installation.

Fitting Source

This fitting may be a Fragola 100104BL, XRP 100004BB, or other comparable quality fitting. Fragola and XRP fittings are made in the USA.

AN Disclaimer

These fittings are not AN (Army-Navy) rated for use on aircraft. The AN term is used only in describing their standardized size, seat angle, and thread profile. Flare fittings have the standard JIC and AN conical seat angle of 37° and a UNJF thread profile. The size number represents the outside diameter of the metal tube the fitting was designed to fit in as multiples of 1/16”. So, a -10 AN fitting is designed to fit a 5/8” tube.
